MEGAN MORONEY PREMIERES STADIUM-SIZED NEW SONG “INDIFFERENT”

Just a day after announcing the forthcoming release of her sophomore album, Am I Okay? Sony Music Nashville/Columbia Records’, Megan Moroney is sharing a brand-new song called “Indifferent” — go here to listen now. The hard-hitting and triumphant track will grace the track list to Am I Okay?, a massively anticipated album due out on Friday 12th July.

You can go here to pre-order/pre-save Am I Okay? now.

Produced by Megan’s longtime collaborator Kristian Bush and written by Megan Moroney, Ben Williams, Mackenzie Carpenter, and Micah Carpenter, “Indifferent” offers a glimpse at the braver and bolder songwriting the Georgia-bred superstar brought to Am I Okay? (the highly awaited follow-up to her blockbuster 2023 debut Lucky). One of the most exuberant moments on Am I Okay?, the stadium-sized anthem speaks to the ecstatic relief that comes with realizing you’re no longer hung up on your ex.

After opening on a bit of stripped-back storytelling with Megan confessing to certain obsessive behavior in her past – “Indifferent” explodes into a high-energy chorus powered by pulsating drumbeats and carefree gang vocals. With its whistled melodies and blazing guitar riffs, the larger-than-life track ultimately serves as a glorious showcase for her wildly clever yet emotionally charged wordplay (e.g., “When your mama calls I’m reminded you exist/ And I wish that she didn’t/ ’Cause all of my give-a-damns have already been given”).

Last weekend in Indio, California, Megan made her debut appearance at Stagecoach Festival and dazzled the audience with a powerhouse version of “Indifferent,” fully doubling down on the track’s fiery spirit. Known for her exhilarating live show, Megan will take the stage tonight at Vibrant Music Hall in Waukee, Iowa as part of THE LUCKY 2.O TOUR, a headlining run that sold out in just five minutes. Solidifying her status as an in-demand headliner, her third consecutive headline tour is currently set to continue through Friday 26th July in Aspen, Colorado with special guest Logan Crosby as support.

Soon after completing the first leg of THE LUCKY 2.O TOUR, Megan will head overseas for the GEORGIA GIRL TOUR: a 15-date headlining run of the UK and Europe beginning on Wednesday 4th September in Cardiff, UK and wrapping up on Friday 27th September in Zurich, Switzerland. This spring and summer, Megan is also performing at stadiums across the country as support for Kenny Chesney’s SUN DOWN 2024 TOUR, in addition to appearing at high-profile festivals like Lollapalooza (Friday 2nd August).

MEGAN MORONEY ANNOUNCES SOPHOMORE ALBUM AM I OKAY? DUE OUT 12TH JULY

In a move that’s sure to thrill Country fans everywhere, Megan Moroney has announced the upcoming release of her hugely anticipated sophomore album, Am I Okay? Due out on Friday 12th July, the Sony Music Nashville/ Columbia Records singer/songwriter’s new full-length will follow her blockbuster debut Lucky, a critically acclaimed LP that marked one of the biggest Country releases of 2023 and cemented Moroney’s status as Country’s latest “It” girl.

Today (Friday 3rd May) Megan shared the latest song from Am I Okay? – a larger-than-life anthem called “Indifferent.”

Yesterday (Thursday 2nd May), Megan revealed Am I Okay?’s title and release date on social media, immediately drawing a rapturous response from her legion of devoted fans. The announcement arrived soon after the Georgia-bred artist reached the highly coveted milestone of surpassing a BILLION total global streams across all platforms thanks to the meteoric success of hits like her 2X PLATINUM, No. 1 breakout single, “Tennessee Orange.”

In a formidable follow-up to Lucky – whose countless accolades include landing on best-of-the-year lists from leading outlets like The New York Times and Rolling Stone – Am I Okay? finds Megan sharpening her phenomenal songcraft and sharing even more of her personal story. As she explores the endless ways that heartbreak upends our lives, Megan digs deeper into the raw emotionality that’s earned her the nickname “the Emo Cowgirl.” Produced by her longtime collaborator Kristian Bush and firmly rooted in Megan’s gorgeously raspy vocal work – the result is a major leap forward for one of Country’s most stunning and unstoppable new talents.

Last weekend at Stagecoach Festival in Indio, California, Megan captivated the crowd with a powerhouse set featuring smash singles like “Tennessee Orange” and “I’m Not Pretty” as well as recently released songs like “28th of June” and “No Caller ID.” For her debut appearance at Stagecoach, DanielXDiamond designed an elaborate custom set featuring a multitude of rhinestone-adorned guitars that sparkled in the desert sun – a feat that required no fewer than 168 hours of rhinestoning.

Last month, Megan emerged as the most-nominated female artist at the 2024 Academy of Country Music Awards after scoring a total of six nominations, including FEMALE ARTIST OF THE YEAR, NEW FEMALE ARTIST OF THE YEAR, SONG OF THE YEAR (“Tennessee Orange”), VISUAL MEDIA OF THE YEAR (“Tennessee Orange”), and MUSIC EVENT OF THE YEAR (“Can’t Break Up Now,” her collaboration with Old Dominion).

The 59th ACM Awards will take place on Thursday 16th May at The Star in Frisco, Texas.

“Country Music’s Next Rising Star” (Billboard), Dylan Schneider “is proving to be all gas, no brakes in 2024” (Taste of Country) with Dylan having released his latest EP, Bad Decisions on Friday 26th April ahead of his Stagecoach Festival debut performance (Sunday 28th April). Finding “storylines that make country music listeners go wild is his superpower,” and the BBR Music Group/ BMG Nashville singer-songwriter “not only lives up to his hit-maker status, but he exceeds it” (All Country News).

You can listen to Bad Decisions HERE.

“This is my favorite batch of songs that I have ever released,” says Dylan Schneider. “Bad Decisions shares my vision of where I’m heading creatively and sonically. I have a lot of different influences ranging from hip-hop to R&B to country, and with this EP, I’m able to explore all of that. This is also my first project where I co-wrote every single song, so I’m excited to play these out on the road for y’all and see what you think!”

Featuring his viral songs “Ain’t Missin’ You” and title track “Bad Decisions” that PopCulture demanded to “PLAY IT LOUD” – the six-track project includes new songs “Carhartt”, “Ruin This Town” and “Buy That Girl A Beer” that are sure to catapult his already viral resume.

After posting a snippet of a sharp-witted chorus on TikTok, the sound went viral, racking up over 156M TikTok views, 182k user-generated TikTok videos, 55M on-demand streams and 1M YouTube views, climbing to #3 on TikTok’s Country playlist and securing placement on viral-song charts. Seeing the incredible response, Dylan immediately went back to the writing room to finish the spit-fire track – “Ain’t Missin’ You.” Boasting wily lyrics and an electric hook, the feisty song finds the “Artist to Watch” (Amazon Music, Pandora, Taste of Country) continuing to “expand the bounds of his artistry” (American Songwriter) and lean into MusicRow’s “Next Big Thing” prediction.

Continuing to strongly connect, having already amassed over 3.8M TikTok views, 26,000 filter creates, 5,000 user-generated TikTok videos and 7.3M streams, Dylan gave into fan-demand again with the sultry track “Bad Decisions.” Seduced by a magnetic connection with an ex, the seductive song follows a couple who just can’t help but give into temptation.

Filling out the rest of the project, Dylan delivers his most-vulnerable song to date with the autobiographical “Daddy Drinks Whiskey” that “takes one of country music’s drinks of choice and turns it into a personal story he’s finally ready to share” (American Songwriter). While the stadium-ready, supercharged anthem “Ruin This Town” showcases his “rapid-fire singing style” (Billboard), the live-in-the-moment reminder of ballad “Buy That Girl A Beer” puts his eclectic vocals and lyrical growth on full display. Finally, the insanely catchy, witty and vibrant groove of “Carhartt” flows with an unforgettable, anthemic beat about a girl who got away that’s sure to be his next viral song of summer.

At only 24-years-old, Dylan has amassed a social-media following of 1.8M + fans, banked over 350M on-demand streams, and has toured alongside superstars like Florida Georgia Line, Morgan Wallen, Scotty McCreery, Nate Smith and more. Miranda Lambert Debuts “Wranglers” at Stagecoach with New Music Coming

For Miranda Lambert who values music above all, her triumphant set at Stagecoach on Saturday night was one big celebration, complete with Reba surprising the crowd for a three-song finale that included “Mama’s Broken Heart,” “Fancy” and “Gunpowder & Lead.”

Having wrapped her 48-date Las Vegas residency, the show put her back amongst hardcore fans. It was also the celebration of both her new record deal with Republic Records and getting serious about her Big Loud Texas label.

Given Miranda’s penchant for bringing the fans into her newest music, the three-time Grammy winner and most-awarded artist in Academy of Country Music history thought the polo grounds in the California desert was the perfect place to debut her newest creation. Recorded in Austin, Texas with frequent collaborator and co-producer Jon Randall, “Wranglers” is a hard-won freedom song for a woman reckoning with a man who just doesn’t value what he’s got.

Written by Audra Mae who sings on the track, Evan McKeever and Ryan Carpenter, “Wranglers” opens with a tangle of brittle, incendiary guitars from Jedd Hughes and Ethan Ballinger as ambient organ steam from Austin legend Bukka Allen rises. The rhythm section works a foreboding reality: Rachel Loy’s bass lumbers across Conrad Choucroun’s sticks-on-the-rims drum part and Miranda’s siren’s cry cuts through the mix. Heavy, but not gratuitous, there’s a foreboding to the track that pulls you in, a tension that holds the listener as Lambert half coos, half sings the kind of song that has defined her career, “Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned/ When the knock down drag out’s over/ And Lord knows she took one too many…”

When Miranda dropped the Crazy Horse-evoking track on the sold-out Saturday night Stagecoach crowd, the yowls and howls were pronounced as the entire crowd swayed. Fists in the air, it may have been unfamiliar but they were hanging on every word and riding the drama like any of Lambert’s taking care of business anthems.

“‘Wranglers’ is a classic tale of a woman taking her power back,” Miranda says of the sizzling post-Outlaw classic. “I think we can all identify with the character in this song, because we have all had a time in our life where we needed to find our strength, and also get a little revenge on someone who did us wrong or hurt us. This offers such a cool, raging take on how something like this unravels. I think the songwriters nailed it.

“I am so proud to sing it. It feels like it could have been on the same record as ‘Gunpowder & Lead’ in a lot of ways. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned is a pretty powerful statement, and the way it’s written, you can tell, we’re not kidding.”

For Miranda, who’s spent the last few years stretching her creative muscles with the Wanda June Home line, the New York Times’ best-seller “Y’all Eat Yet?”, her Vegas residency and launching a new label dedicated to protecting young talent from her home state from the over-homogenization of major label life, “Wranglers” in some ways represents burning down the past and making a run for all things you truly want. Certainly making music in new ways including taking her high octane kick-ass country back to Texas to capture that energy on the recording studio floor.

“People don’t always know what it is, they just know they want some more,” Miranda marvels. “It’s not that it’s so fancy or top secret, because it’s about as basic as you get. But that’s the magic: to strip things down like this and still create something new? Less is more, but it forces you to turn up the truth. So, get ready.”

“Wranglers” is available everywhere THIS FRIDAY (3rd May).
