ANNIE BOSKO GIVES “NEON BABY” ACOUSTIC TREATMENT WITH RELEASE OF “NEON BABY (LAST CALL)”

When Annie Bosko released her sultry “Neon Baby” to country radio in November 2023, it arrived as the third-most-added single. “Neon Baby” contagiously flirty lyrics and budding popularity led to Annie making her late night debut on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!

Now, Annie is providing an acoustic twist to the single currently at Country radio with the release of “Neon Baby (Last Call)” available now.

“This version really allows the vocal and romantic sentiment to shine through,” shares Annie Bosko. “The warmth of the track matches the turn of the season and warmer weather. I envisioned myself on a stool serenading late-night lovers dancing in a divebar.”

Written by Bosko with Jeffrey Steele (Rascal Flatts’ “What Hurts The Most,” Tim McGraw’s “The Cowboy In Me”) and Bridgette Tatum (Jason Aldean’s “She’s Country”), and working with producers Derek George and Mickey Jack Cones, “Neon Baby” entices listeners with the California native’s flare for neo-traditional twang, a fitting conduit for its playful lyrics.

“Neon Baby (Last Call)” comes on the heels of Annie’s recently released duet with Vince Gill, “Higher Ground” and follows the release of her self-titled EP earlier this year, featuring five songs including the original rendition of “Neon Baby.”

Bosko is set to take the stage at Stagecoach tomorrow, Saturday 27th April at the Toyota Music Den following a performance at Ryman Auditorium earlier this week for the Walkin’ After Midnight: The Music of Patsy Cline tribute show, with ABC News/“Good Morning America” praising, “Annie Bosko wowed with ‘You’re Stronger Than Me.’”

Having recently made her international debut at C2C: Country to Country in Glasgow with a solo acoustic set to a sold-out arena, Annie will perform on additional festival stages across the U.S. this spring and summer, including CMA Fest, Country Jam, Faster Horses and Watershed Festival.

MACKENZIE PORTER RELEASES NOBODY’S BORN WITH A BROKEN HEART

Global country chart-topper, MacKenzie Porter‘s sound knows no borders.

Today (26th April), MacKenzie continues to shine with impactful lyrics and mesmerizing vocals on her long-awaited Big Loud Records debut, Nobody’s Born With A Broken Heart out now.

“I can’t put into words what this means to me. I’m so excited to put out the perfect group of songs to represent who I am,” MacKenzie Porter shares. “Each one of these songs is a part of me. I’ve been heartbroken more times than I can count, but that’s made me who I am today and I’m proud to be living my life with enough bravery to take chances. This album is a testament to those chances, and to the beauty of putting all my pieces – broken or not – back together.”

Setting her sights on country music stardom and falling in love with the genre growing up on her family’s cattle and bison ranch, the years-in-the-making 19-track album examines the different types of heartbreak that have shaped and changed her life. From career disappointments represented in “Nightingale”, to the loneliness of trying to move on in “Foreclosure”, to the haunting pain of disappointment in “Pay Me Back In Change,” MacKenzie uses the album to explore the idea that in a life worth living, the human heart will inevitably break – one way or another.

Emulating the song’s candidly poignant lyrics, the Justin Clough-directed music video was captured at Ghost Ranch just outside of Santa Fe, N.M earlier this year.

Next week, MacKenzie will celebrate the release of the record by making her solo television debut on The Kelly Clarkson Show next Monday 29th April.

Rising country music sensation, Callie Twisselman is set to captivate audiences with her latest single, “In My World.” The track penned by Callie herself is a vibrant, feel-good anthem that invites listeners into a world of dreams and aspirations.

“’In My World’ is just a feel-good, fun upbeat song I wrote one day sitting on my couch,” says Callie Twisselman. “I was thinking about all the things I wanted in life and daydreaming of what my world would look like if I got to make all the decisions and all of my wishes and desires just came true.”

Produced by Tyler Cain (known for his work with Darius Rucker, Colbie Caillat, and Gavin DeGraw) and mixed by Chris Lord-Alge, “In My World” promises to uplift spirits and inspire listeners to chase after their own goals.

“I hope when people listen to the song they are put in a good mood,” Callie Twisselman adds. “And maybe even think about all of their hopes and dreams they want to strive for. I think it’s important in life to have dreams and goals cause then you have something to get excited about and chase after. And you never know, they just might come true.”

With an impressive resume already under her belt, including performances at the C2C festival in London and opening for legendary artists like Dolly Parton (even interviewed her for Apple on International Women’s Day in 2022), Callie continues to make waves in the country music scene. Her previous EP, Closure received widespread acclaim, and her live performances have left audiences spellbound across the globe. Additionally, she experienced a major career highlight in 2021 when her song “Together” was featured in the animated film My Little Pony: A New Generation.

“In My World” marks the next chapter in Callie Twisselman’s musical journey, promising fans a delightful escape into a world of optimism and possibility. On Tuesday 23rd April audiences in Napa Valley were treated to Callie’s set at Live In The Vineyard Goes Country alongside Hailey Witters and Scott McCreery, and fans should keep an eye out for more to come.

SONY MUSIC PUBLISHING NASHVILLESIGNS RANDALL KING TO GLOBAL DEAL

Sony Music Publishing Nashville earlier this week announced the signing of West Texas native, Randall King celebrated by Holler as “the genre’s neo-traditional figurehead,” to a global publishing agreement.

Randall King has emerged as one of today’s most promising new voices in country music, amassing over 300 million streams with singles like “You In A Honky Tonk,” “Hey Cowgirl” and “Mirror, Mirror.” He’s kept the twang alive in country’s mainstream while also earning acclaim through deeply personal EPs like 2020’s Leanna, and his 2022 major label album debut, Shot Glass.

Randall released his sophomore major-label album Into The Neon earlier this year, with inspiration drawn from the hues of neon that backlit his budding career inclusive of the glowing skies in the plains of West Texas where he was raised and the radiant signs of the nearly 150 honky tonks he performs in each year. The project left Nashville Lifestyles proclaiming he “stakes a sonic claim where a cosmic expanse of starlight meets the energetic buzz of a roadside honky tonk,” while Texas Monthly declared “his Texas bona fides are unimpeachable.”

Randall King said: “Can’t begin to say how excited I am to be joining Sony Music Publishing! It’s a new era of writing for me and I couldn’t have joined a better team!”

Into The Neon was released on 26th January and features songs including “When My Baby’s in Boots” co-written by SMP songwriters Trannie Anderson, Jordan Walker and Michael Carter, “Hard to Be Humble” co-written by SMP’s Ben Hayslip, as well as songs written by artists including Mitchell Tenpenny, Will Jones and “World on Fire” hit-maker, Nate Smith.

Randall is currently headlining shows across the US and has tour dates slated across Europe later in 2024.

Director, Creative A&R, Sony Music Publishing Nashville Aubrey Landon said: “We are thrilled to champion Randall as he continues to bring a fresh take on traditional country music. His music resonates with authenticity, and we could not be happier to start this next chapter together.”

MIRANDA LAMBERT SIGNS WITH REPUBLIC RECORDSIN PARTNERSHIP WITH BIG LOUD

Always music forward and reaching for new levels of candor in her country, trailblazing superstar/ songwriter, Miranda Lambert forges a new creative alliance designed to take the three-time GRAMMY winner to even more powerful spaces. Having just wrapped her twice-extended, 48-show Velvet Rodeo residency in Las Vegas, the most awarded artist in Academy of Country Music history including their top Entertainer of the Year honor signs with Republic Records. The deal will include support from the Nashville-based Big Loud including Country Radio promotion as well as other marketing efforts, all as a part of the overall strategic partnership with Republic Records.

The announcement signals Miranda’s first new solo music since 2022’s critically acclaimed, GRAMMY-, ACM- and Country Music Association-nominated Palomino. “Wranglers” arriving Friday 3rd May is her first track.

The news arrives ahead of a highly anticipated appearance at the Stagecoach festival this Saturday 27th April. Fans worldwide can join the excitement by tuning into the Amazon Music livestream of the seven-time CMA Female Vocalist and five-time ACM Album of the Year winner’s set. Fans can also listen to her full set on SiriusXM’s The Highway.

For Miranda, this marks a significant time to be a woman in music. As she says of her first Republic track: “‘Wranglers’ is a tale of a woman taking her power back. I think we can all identify with the character in this song, because we have all had a time in our life that we needed to find a way to find our strength and also get a little revenge on someone that did us wrong or hurt us.”

Miranda continues about her new label, “Music is and always will be the thing that drives me, but having a new home has given me a hunger I didn’t realize I still had inside me. This song feels like it could be on the same record as ‘Gunpowder & Lead’; it has that same fury. I can’t wait to get out there with this new label and this new music… Monte Lipman and his team fire me up!”

“Miranda Lambert’s legacy as both a consummate storyteller and legendary performer speaks for itself. Her new music is spectacular and we are thrilled and honored to welcome her to Republic Records in partnership with Big Loud,” says REPUBLIC Founder and Chairman, Monte Lipman.

“We’re honored Miranda Lambert has entrusted us with this next chapter of her career,” adds REPUBLIC President and Chief Operating Officer, Jim Roppo. “As she puts the final touches on her fantastic new body of work, it has all the hallmarks of her signature sound, yet she continues to push herself as a songwriter, producer and performer. We’re all at the beginning of a very special moment, and we’re grateful to be on this journey with her.”

Last November, Miranda Lambert and Jon Randall announced a strategic partnership with Seth England and Big Loud Records launching imprint Big Loud Texas

“Being in Texas with Jon, recording where I cut my teeth as a young artist, felt like coming home. I thought about the women – and men – who’ve lived, loved and found power in my music, and I wanted to get back to the root of those spaces,” Miranda Lambert declares. “Talking to Monte, Avery Lipman and the team at Republic, as well as Seth and the Big Loud folks who are leaning in, everyone understood my desires and vision for this next era of my music. Aligning like that is empowering; it gives you a license to really chase it. Signing with Republic has inspired me to find the sweet spot for me and all the people like me. I can’t wait for everyone to hear ‘Wranglers,’ and the rest of this record.”

Miranda also recently announced a return to the road including a three-night stand at New Braunfels, Texas’ iconic Whitewater Amphitheater, as well as concerts from coast to coast. With tour dates running throughout July, August and September, Miranda is also headlining major festivals including Rock the Country, Calgary Stampede, Under the Big Sky and more.

ANNE WILSON HITS NO. 1 AT CHRISTIAN RADIO WITH “STRONG”

Platinum-certified, GRAMMY-nominated artist and songwriter, Anne Wilson has secured the No.1 spot at Christian radio during her album REBEL’s street week with her empowering anthem “Strong.” As it marks Wilson’s third career No.1, the single written by Anne Wilson, Jeff Pardo and Matthew West has already garnered over 32M global streams to date. Notably, Anne becomes the only female artist to have three No. 1 singles across the Mediabase Christian AC and Mediabase Christian Audience charts since she first launched on the scene with “My Jesus” in 2021.

LISTEN: REBEL

REBEL, the “trailblazing album” released this past Friday (19th April) from “one of contemporary music’s freshest new voices, regardless of genre” (People.com), sees Wilson boldly stamping her love of Jesus, Country music and family. A co-writer on each of the 16 tracks, the “bold, triumphant” (Holler) record has already seen an immense outpour of critical acclaim, with Billboard praising its “faith rooted Country sound,”while GRAMMY.com recognizes “Wilson not only proves how her faith is her true north, but also shows others yearning to get there a path forward.” Combining much-needed encouragement, vulnerability and transparency into a perfect balance that footholds the space between the dead-end road paved in dirt and the church pew of redemption on Sunday morning, the record produced by Jeff Pardo and Jonathan Smith emerges as a powerful message of faith.

Last week, Anne commemorated the groundbreaking release with a performance of her loud-and-proud title track “REBEL” on The 3rd Hour of TODAY and also announced her headlining REBEL Tour with special guest Jordan Rowe kicking off on Thursday 12th September. Tickets for the 28-stop tour are available for presale now and general on-sale will begin on Friday 26th April at 10am local on www.annewilsonofficial.com.

Charging onto the scene three years ago with her debut single “My Jesus,” Anne made the powerful declaration to cling firmly to her faith after finding God’s healing following the tragic loss of her brother. Now, as she remains steadfast and unwavering in her commitment to her faith-filled message, Anne delivers an album in REBEL that “hits the bullseye between contemporary Christian and Country twang” (GRAMMY.com) in an ode to Wilson’s Lexington, Ky. roots that honors two genres who share a deep-rooted history.

Highlighted on the album is “the upbeat banger” (GRAMMY.com) “Songs About Whiskey” released with an all-new music video that finds Anne unashamedly walking the line of her strong faith and Country roots. Collaborations with some of Christian and Country music’s biggest names further elevate the collection, tapping reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year Lainey Wilson for “Praying Woman,” GRAMMY-Award winner Chris Tomlin for “The Cross” and Country superstar Jordan Davis for “Country Gold.”

Last month, Anne landed her first CMT Music Award nomination for Breakthrough Female Video of the Year for her Country radio single “Rain In The Rearview.” Despite only being three years into her career, Wilson has already amassed an impressive list of accolades including winning a Billboard Music Award, multiple DOVE and K-LOVE Fan Awards, in addition to being a GRAMMY and American Music Award nominee. Recognized as Apple Music’s Country Riser for April, an artist to watch by Spotify, Pandora, the Grand Ole Opry, CMT and more, and over 900M career streams, Wilson’s star continues to rise.

With her REBEL Tour on the horizon, she will grace the stages of both Country and Christian music’s most sought-after festivals this summer to share her message of faith, resilience and hope with audiences across the country.

Stay up to date with Anne at www.annewilsonofficial.com and keep up with her on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

SHANE PROFITT WON’T MIX HIS “WHISKEY WITH YOU”, A NEW SINGLE OUT NOW

Singer-songwriter, Shane Profitt last Friday (19th April) released his new track, “Whiskey With You” available now via Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment (formerly BMLG Records). Following the release of sweet love song “Two Down” in February, “Whiskey With You” adds a fiery windows-down anthem to the young singer-songwriter’s already versatile discography, further cementing his undeniable, inherent talent for top-tier storytelling.

Listen to “Whiskey With You” HERE

Watch The Lyric Video HERE

“‘Whiskey With You’ is an up-tempo, feel-good anthem,” shares Shane Profitt.

Written by Shane Profitt alongside Blake Bollinger, Chris Janson and Nate Kenyon, “Whiskey With You” is written from the perspective of someone who is looking to the bottle to help them move on from and forget a past partner. Instead, the whiskey acts as a catalyst for regressing to destructive but familiar habits with someone they know isn’t right for them. Shane cleverly lists off things he likes to pair with his whiskey but notes that his ex isn’t one of them – and it’s a lesson he’s learned the hard way.

“Whiskey With You” is the latest in a string of stand-alone tracks Shane has released in recent months including “Good Luck And God,” “I Am Who I Am” and “Two Down.” Shane has been crisscrossing the country on tour with Aaron Lewis and is set to play several country music festivals this summer including Country Festival 2024, Festival of the Bells 2024 and Riverfront Festival 2024. Earlier this year, Shane made his UK debut at C2C (Country To Country) Festival.
