AMERICAN BLONDE RELEASES SASSY, SARCASTIC BARN BURNER, “YOU LOOK BETTER ON THE WAY OUT”

The American Blonde sisters are at it again – this time with an upbeat toe-tapper laced with a whole break up’s worth of sass and sarcasm… “You Look Better on the Way Out” co-written by American Blonde half Natalia (Nata) Morris, Tess Frizell, and Jimmy Nash is available today (Friday 12th April) and perfect for anyone looking to make light of a relationship gone bad. Produced by Catt Gravitt, the tune premiered exclusively with Entertainment Focus yesterday (11th April) who called it “a humorous ‘goodbye’ song dripping in classic Sugarland-esque vibes with its breezy guitars, pounding drums and infectious melodies.”

“We love this song so much simply because it embodies our energy in everyday life, as well as on stage with its bubbly-fun, country-rockin’ rhythm and sassy lyrics,” said Tinka. We feel like ‘You Look Better On the Way Out’ is the perfect song to jam to when you’re finally feeling confident enough to stand on your own and say goodbye to that person in your life that never treats you the way you deserve to be treated! It’s really a story of taking back one’s power from someone that has narcissistic tendencies. And we believe that is something worth feeling good about and celebrating in song form!”

American Blonde’s most recent release, a celebration of self-worth “Why Girl” premiered with Taste of Country and encouraged female listeners to move on from whoever was holding them back. The song followed this year’s first release from the duo, “A Man Like You,” a groove-driven ode that features Nata and Tinka “refusing to be damsels in distress” and standing “firm in their sense of self” (All Country News).

The anthem aired with country radio nationwide topping out at #34 on the MusicRow Country Breakout chart.

American Blonde first shared their debut album, Somethin’ in the Water, in 2022, going “from strength to strength with their beautiful vocals and well written, authentic songwriting” (Maverick Magazine).
