Originally from the South Coast of England, Elliott has many influences including Chris Stapleton, Drake White, Van Morrison, Ryan Bingham, Eric Church, Mark Knopfler and Elvis Presley to name but a few, and believe me the list goes on.
He is now a fast rising country rock artiste, becoming a driving force within the UK country music scene.
From years of travel and backpacking across America throughout his late teens, his music speaks from the heart on travel, friendships and the adventures of life. There is so much diversity of creative thought that goes into his lyrics, combining the strong expression of his emotions. Taking you on his journey, which are all wrapped up within his music that comes from the roots of Country & Rock in the USA and Celtic Folk from England & Ireland.
Since starting out, Elliott has worked with writers in Nashville and collaborated a few times with Emily Faye on their song writing projects, including featuring on Emily’s 2016 single, ‘The Ride.’
Back in August 2018, he released his debut single ‘A Song For The Summer’ along with his debut EP, Wild Atlantic Heart, which has been described as having an air of Celtic inspiration with a hit of Country.
This has led to a very busy 2019 for Elliott and the band, as they have been solidly gigging through January up to May, in London, Surrey, Hampshire and Sussex, as well as having played the Country On The Coast Festival in their hometown of Portsmouth.
They have also been selected for the Final, of Portsmouth’s Best Original Artist of the Year which is taking place on July 11th at The Wedgwood Rooms.
Elliott tells us at the BCA that their brand-new single “While Were Young” is set to be released at the end of June. And he kindly gave us a sneaky peak at the official video, and again you won’t be disappointed.
Written by Elliott, the single includes, Emily Faye, Riordan Hanan, Matt Brook, and George Pickering. Elliot went on to say that a brand new 6 track EP is being released on August 24th with the Record Launch on the 25th.
Elliott Joseph is a real showman with an immense talent for song writing and performing with his 5 piece band. Led by foot stomping country guitar licks, soaring Irish fiddle melodies and soulful rock vocals, his stage presence seemed to flow naturally as his creates an energy that captivates performers and audiences alike.
