MARY SARAH DROPS A VISUAL FOR CLASSIC COUNTRY BALLAD, “STUBBORN”

Mary Sarah’s offering up a visual for her latest single, a classic country ballad “Stubborn” (co-written by Ashley Gorley, Hillary Lindsey, and Shane McAnally) available to view now. “Stubborn” which released in February and has already seen nearly 160,000 streams on Spotify alone established a strong throughline for the starlet’s releases this year – one of grit and determination to continue her rise in country music. The video which made its network premiere on Wednesday 24th April with Heartland and was shot and directed by Yoder Productions, and is as delightfully simplistic (yet impactful) as the song itself, featuring a small theater performance by the country songstress.

First garnering attention for her spot on Season 10 NBC hit show The Voice (where she finished Top 5), her strong work ethic and determination has led to several career wins including a sophomore album release Bridges that included duets with country icons like Dolly Parton, Merle Haggard, and Willie Nelson.

Since the release of “Stubborn,” Mary Sarah has leaked another tune in her planned parade of releases this year: “Chain Smokin’” out last month, likens a woman’s evening extra curriculars to the bad habit the song title highlights.
